I'm reading Blood Reaver right now, and I'm just curious what you think The Exalted looks like. It kind of sounds like he would look like a shark, but ADB throws in a new hint of another permutation of his anatomy. I was particularly amused when he described him as having "jaws". I can only imagine him in the shadows making squishy gurgling noises as he slobbers from orifices in places I don't want to think about.
they're really not dude, it's easy to see how much more work has gone into your pictures, the only reason I 'm getting the shapes down is because I've been drawing 40k hard for the past two years or so, you've obviously got the talent and the eye for detail just keep pupmpin the pics out dude, one thing that I really recommended is to get a cheap ass packet of printing paper from tescos, it's like about three quid, that way you get rid of the worry of having to 'use' the paper you have and you can just go nuts with sketches, designs, poses and all other types of things that'll get you to the level you want to be
Cheers for that bud Yeh I have a ton of sketch paper now, so scribbling a bit heh. Need to produce another proper drawing though, as I'm a bit behind Got a couple in the works...so hoping to see improvement
I actually like the sketches better than the finished pieces... Here the the expressions and details stand out far more, in the finished piece, the glossiness of the coloring is detracting from the level of attention that went into the poses and equipment.
Mercutian's "Bring it on" expression is pretty much absent from his full rendition... So glad you are putting these sketches up.
cheers man, aye it's all part of the process dude, sometimes it's brutal drawing a picture then realizing that a butt load of what you've drawn is never goin' to go into the final piece or having to change designs because they just dont look right in 'that' particular stance, but I'm the anti-anal when it comes to my pictures dude, I know progression is halted by pining for lost ideas, that said I do love to doodle my ass of for prep work and when I get permission to chuck the sketches up it's really cool
