I thought Basic Gothic is the Imperium's version of English.
The worst (or best) part is, the Heresy isn't a series of unfortunate events. It would've happened regardless of who fell or who decided to reintroduce Chaos into the world, not due to a set of specific events that caused it. Even if it wasn't Lorgar who became a religious lunatic, or the Emperor was an awesome dad, Chaos would have returned inevitable.
badass, and by the way deliverance lost was a freakin great book. shows you ALOT more then the other books of just how powerful the emperor really is. Corax is one of my fav primarchs, hes just legit a badass, and not just cuz hes a primarch. hes the only primarch worthy of getting his hands on the primarch project, which created all 20 primarchs, and he was gifted it to re establish his legion to combat chaos...... Who else is that badass to get direct emperor's approval into his secret lab? lol
Haha nope, though I was reading Deliverance lost at the time maybe he wormed his way into my brain using some sort of ethereal warping psi matter tainted by the nightmares of a civilisation.........Thorpe just warped me!!!!!
You ought to know that this site is far from reliable. It's half-filled with fanfiction (that's for example from where most fluff about the Rainbow Warriors comes from, not from GW) and rarely proofread. Lexicanum, although not entirely accurate either, is a far better source.
Well Ferrus Manus and his iron hands are the worst of it. But that's what happens when your original lore was made in the very early 1990's by a bunch of british geeks in their early 20's. You get stuck with it.
That said, the space wolves' bit is actually explained pretty well in Prospero Burns. It's not that everything is named wolf, it's the fact that the people of Fenris have dozens of words for wolf that get translated to wolf when it's written in low gothic. It's like the Inuits who have many words for snow, but in english, they'd all just be snow.
